Emily Cicardi, LMHC completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Stony Brook University and obtained her Master of Arts in Counseling and Community Psychology from Sage Graduate School. She enjoys working with adults, adolescents, children, families and couples with a variety of presenting issues. She has experience working with individuals recovering from substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, major life transitions, trauma and grief. Emily’s therapeutic approach most often includes cognitive-behavioral therapy, fully informed by the clients’ strengths and goals. She also enjoys teaching mindfulness strategies to help clients’ achieve improved satisfaction within their everyday lives.
