Sarah Etkin, LCSW was born and raised in the Capital District and has 16 years of experience in clinical social work serving diverse populations in multiple settings. Sarah graduated from Tufts University in Medford, MA with a degree in Psychology in 1996 and earned a Masters of Social Work from Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 2000. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York.
Sarah is deeply committed to the health of the community where she lives and works and is privileged to guide her clients in the transformation that takes place within a supportive therapeutic process.
Sarah practices from a multi-theoretical framework with a client-centered, strengths-based, solution-focused approach to treatment. She offers mindfulness techniques as vital tools in promoting optimal growth and self-awareness.
