ECS Psychological Services P.C. Proudly Supports Military Members & Families
At ECS Psychological Services P.C. we recognize the complex issues facing our veterans, service members, and their families. Given the specific skills, duties, and culture of a military lifestyle, service members and their families possess unique strengths as well as vulnerabilities.
In order to best serve this population, our clinicians have received specialized training and serve on the National Star Behavioral Health Providers registry. Additionally, we can proudly and confidently support military families because we are military families. Our clinicians are comprised of spouses of veterans and active duty service members.
Common challenges and mental health concerns associated with military life include:
Depression
Anxiety
Post-traumatic stress
Substance abuse
Sleep disturbance
Suicidal ideation
Traumatic brain injury
Family support for spouses & children
Circumstances such as deployments and reintegration as well as relocations and reassignments are also sensitive factors. Access to skilled professionals proficient in recognizing and treating these issues can be a challenge.
ECS also offers a Military Spouse Support group at our Therapeutic Farm office, located at 683 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. For more information on our military spouse support group, please call our office at (518) 580-0520 and schedule a time to meet with the group facilitator: Dana Jacobs LMHC, CASAC.
